The Ealing tournament saw Windsor RFC pitted against a raft of high-quality opposition, with mixed squads facing Hampstead, Ealing, Ironside, Richmond (Windsor 1) and Ealing, Maidenhead, Barnes and Teddington (Windsor 2). Playing on the hallowed 3G turf in front of the main Ealing Trailfinders stand, the players put in a huge shift of physical performances - coming out unbeaten across both teams, each with a 3:1 win: draw ratio.
Coaching feedback highlighted the physical commitment of all players, with our Windsor players consistently dominating the tackle and ruck area, and a long list of try scorers on the day. A great day was had by all, with all games played in good spirit (in spite of some experimental refereeing at times!).
