At U10s, children take their next exciting step in their rugby journey as they are introduced to contact rugby in a safe, structured and supportive environment. The focus remains firmly on Fun, Respect and Teamwork, ensuring every player develops confidence, learns new skills and enjoys being part of the team.

As this is a transitional age group, our experienced volunteer coaches introduce contact gradually, with player welfare and enjoyment at the heart of every session. To ensure everyone's safety, players must wear a gumshield during contact activities, and clothing with hoods or zips should not be worn at training.

We pride ourselves on creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to challenge themselves, support their teammates and reach their full potential, regardless of previous rugby experience.

Our coaching team is made up entirely of dedicated volunteer parents who chose to get involved and help create a fantastic experience for all of our young players.

Training takes place every Sunday morning from September through to the end of April, from 9:30am to 11:00am, at Home Park, Windsor. Sessions include warm-ups, fitness activities, ball-handling skills, contact skills, game-based learning and match practice. Throughout the season, we also aim to enter local festivals and tournaments, giving players the opportunity to enjoy rugby against other clubs and experience the excitement of match days.

New players are welcome to attend two complimentary taster sessions before deciding whether to become a club member. We'd love the opportunity to welcome your family and help your child continue their rugby journey at Windsor RFC.
