Last Saturday and Sunday both the Senior Men and Senior Women were in league action. A combined Men’s 2nd and 3rd XV also played a friendly away at Staines RFC.

After a tight first half in the Men’s game in the second half injuries took their toll again and Beaconsfield were able to capitalise on this and some indiscipline from the home side and were eventually winning by 49 points to 29 points with Windsor scoring four tries to secure a bonus point. Try scorers were Luke Budd (2) and Isaac Tokura and Joe Triegaardt scoring one try a piece. Ben Grant- Adamson added 3 conversions and a penalty.

The Senior Women had their first NC2 League Match of the season against Fullerians RFC Women on Sunday. With a side featuring a number of players playing their first league matches for Windsor Dames, the side put in a very committed performance against a physical Fullerians side.

After a tight first half Fullerians started to get the better of the home side midway through the second half and in the end won by 34 points to 10.

Windsor Dames try scorers were Jodie Cain and Rebecca Larkins

HOME PARK UPDATE:

Following the re-seeding of the Pitch 1, Pitch 2 and the Training Area, the club has been lucky with the recent warm and wet weather.

These areas are nearly ready to be played on.

The club will however monitor and manage the amount they are used especially if we get a period of wet weather.

RBWM have now given the club permission to re-instate a full sized pitch on the Datchet side of Pitch 4.

Posts will be ordered shortly . The lead time will be circa 4- 6 weeks before the new pitch will be in place.

The Club this week launched its Fund Raising Campaign to help recoup the monies for these pitch improvements as it was all unbudgeted.

Again any support/donations would be appreciated as it is for the benefit of all sections of the club.
