Last Saturday the Men’s 1st XV travelled to Aylesbury to play their second Regional Thames 2 League Match with a much changed squad due to injuries and unavailability of a number of players.
Aylesbury were desperate to secure their second win of the season after narrowly beating Beaconsfield the previous week.

Despite all the changes in personnel Windsor put in a very committed and spirited performance scoring 3 tries and just missing out on the try bonus point.

Final score Aylesbury 59, Windsor 19.

Parfitt Cresswell Player of the Match: WILL RIDER

Aylesbury RFC nominated Player of the Match: ADAM BAILES.

The Senior Women’s Women’ Junior cup match was cancelled as Ruislip could not raise a side so they will now automatically progress to the next round.

As regards the Juniors, the Colts A Team defeated Newbury in their OBB Division 1 league match and the Colts B Team lost to Reading Abbey Colts by 47 points to 38.
The latter being very good development for a side made up of U17 players in the main..

The U15s played their first Berkshire Youth League matches and both their A and B Teams lost to Maidenhead.

Have a great weekend and if you can get down to the club this Saturday to watch the Men’s 1st XV and the Women’s World Cup Semi Final it would be much appreciated.
