Last weekend was a very important weekend for the Senior Women as they had their last NC2 South East ( North West) league match away at Fullerians RFC needing a win which should keep them in the NC2 Leagues for next season.

In what has been a challenging season the Senior Women which has been blighted by injuries and player availability, the side ended their season positively with a win.

Senior and Junior Awards Presentations:

Last Friday night was the Senior Awards Presentation and on Sunday it was the Junior Awards Presentation to celebrate what has been a very successful season.

On Friday night over 100 players from the Senior Men’s and Women’s sections and for the first time the Colts attended the presentation at the Club.

The event was a great success. Many thanks to Chair of Men’s Rugby Andy Bailes for organizing the event and to Tony and Jen and the kitchen and bar staff for all their efforts.

At the Dinner and Dance the end of season celebrations will continue and at this event the Players Player Awards for the Men’s 1st XV and the Dames will be presented.

More importantly the Gordon Wigley and the Bob Deeley Awards will be presented to a member of the Senior and Youth Section to recognize all their hard work , effort and contribution to Windsor RFC.
