It gives me great pleasure to announce that the winner of the March Volunteer of the Month is Ross Curley. Ross is former Windsor player who is passing on his experience and love of the game to the next generation. Ross is an Under 14 coach and is hugely committed to the development of youth players within the club and especially the Under 14s. He has made a huge contribution to the great success the Under 14s have had in recent years. Alongside an incredibly busy day job, Ross commits a vast amount of time to the development of youth players creating training session plans and gym plans as well as devising creative plans for players to improve and maintain their fitness. This often involves missing out on seeing his own daughter playing matches.
He is an exceptional role model to the players and is committed to helping young people regardless of their circumstances with their mental and physical well being. He quietly goes about this without seeking attention or recognition.
Ross richly deserves this recognition and will be presented with his award in the very near future.
Nominations are now open for April's Volunteer of the Month.
Please send any nominations to the club's Volunteer Co-ordinator Steve Madoc-Jones at stevemjwindsorrfc@outlook.com
