At the pre-match League Lunch, our U13s were proudly presented with their club ties by President Ian Potter and Chair Mike Crawshaw, a time-honoured Windsor tradition marking their transition into Junior rugby.

U13s captain Toby Screen introduced each player before they received their tie.

This year's squad has some strong Windsor connections, with sons of former and current players among the team, while Head Coaches Michael Darren and Matt Screen, alongside Baggy Snr, Ed Bell and Dave Allen, are helping guide the next generation.

The pathway from Youth to Senior rugby was there for everyone to see, with over 70% of our Senior Men's squad having progressed through the Youth section and last season's Colts captain Billy Neiland making his league debut.

The U13s then formed a Guard of Honour as Windsor and Buckingham took to the field, led out by Club Captain Allen Crawshaw for his 150th Men's 1st XV appearance. It was also Adam Bailes' final 1st XV game.

Many U13 parents stayed to enjoy their first Saturday watching the senior side and were rewarded with a fantastic 34–24 bonus-point Windsor win! ?

The U13s have also started positively on the pitch, beating Chinnor in their first friendly on a full U13-sized pitch.

And why do the boys chant "Windsor 32"?

Because 2032 is the year they will graduate into Senior rugby. The aim is to see as many of this group as possible make that journey together and one day pull on a Windsor senior shirt.

Saturday was a perfect reminder of what our club pathway is all about.
