We are delighted to announce the appointment of Una Bulivuata and Jodie Cain as the new Heads of Girls Rugby at Windsor Rugby Football Club.
This is an exciting step forward for our Girls Section as we continue to build on strong foundations and grow opportunities for players across all age groups. The role of Head of Girls is vital to the club, leading the development, organisation, and long-term growth of girls’ rugby, while supporting players on their journey through the club pathway .
A Thank You to Rebecca Curley
Before we look ahead, we want to extend our sincere thanks to Rebecca Curley, our current Head of Girls, for her outstanding commitment, hard work, and dedication over the past few years.
Rebecca has played a key role in developing the Girls Section into what it is today, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and thriving environment for players, coaches, and families alike.
Her passion for the game and tireless efforts behind the scenes have left a lasting impact on the club, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed.
? Meet Our New Heads of Girls
Jodie Cain
I’ve always had a strong passion for sport, originally competing in gymnastics, trampolining, and netball. After returning from university, I was looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to be part of something bigger.
I attended a pre-season rugby session at Windsor and immediately felt at home, I haven’t looked back since. While I had no prior playing experience, I brought with me a background in teaching rugby as a Secondary Head of PE & Sport, which has helped shape my understanding of the game.
What stood out to me most about Windsor was how welcoming and inclusive it is. It’s a place where people of all backgrounds, shapes, and abilities are supported and valued.
I’m excited to help shape the future of the girls’ section, creating an environment where players can thrive, build confidence, and find their place in rugby.
Una Bulivuata
I’ve grown up surrounded by rugby and have always been passionate about the game. As a proud Fijian, rugby has been a huge part of my life, and I’ve loved watching the growth of the women’s and girls’ game over the years.
I began my own rugby journey here at Windsor in the girls’ section, progressed into the Dames, and I’m now continuing my playing career at Henley Rugby Club. My preferred format is 7s, although I play 15s during the off-season, something I’ve come to really enjoy.
My goal is to help grow the girls’ section at Windsor Rugby Club by creating more opportunities for players of all abilities, ensuring they can develop, have fun, and truly enjoy being part of the club.
Looking Ahead
With Jodie and Una leading the way, we are excited for the future of girls’ rugby at Windsor RFC. Their combined passion, experience, and vision will help continue to grow participation, strengthen player pathways, and ensure that every girl who joins the club feels supported, valued, and inspired.
Please join us in:
• Thanking Rebecca for her incredible contribution
• Welcoming Jodie and Una into their new roles
• Supporting the continued growth of our Girls Section
Here’s to the next chapter of girls’ rugby at Windsor RFC! ?
Kind regards
