
We’re excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and energetic Women’s Head Coach to join our coaching group at Windsor RFC. The ideal candidate will be motivated, demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to Women’s rugby. We at Windsor RFC, are committed to grow and develop our Women’s team and so we are looking for a dedicated Head Coach to lead and guide our NC2 squad, working towards the next level.
Over the last 11 years, Windsor RFC have had a thriving women’s section (The Dames), which is known for its warm, welcoming, fun and competitive attitude. Our women’s section is an important part of our club - our goal is to continue to grow our women’s team, develop both our new and experienced players, build a strong, positive and ambitious team culture whilst heading into our next chapter. There will also be the opportunity to work with our Girls Section Coaches from time to time, supporting in the transition and development of our future Dames.
Our new Head Coach will join the team to lead from the front, demonstrate strong leadership, design & deliver high quality training sessions, excellent communication and planning skills whilst working closely with our Head of Women, fellow coaches and team captains. Commitment to fostering a competitive and supportive team culture is a must.
This paid role would suit a wide variety of coaches, including individuals who are looking for their first Head Coach position. Windsor RFC will support the successful candidate with any further coaching qualifications.

Working times: Wednesday evenings (training) and Sunday (matches) during the season (1st July – 30th April)
Salary: Numeration to be discussed
Skills & Expertise:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop players of all levels
- Understanding of how to engage and develop female players
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design & delivery of training sessions and supporting other coaches
- Lead the coaching team and players on match days and provide player feedback and post-game analysis
Requirements:
- RFU Coaching Certificates, England Rugby Coaching Award - ERCA (or working towards it)
- Knowledge of current coaching / training process and modern trends within the game
